01 · Locum credentialing
Locum credentialing, without shortcuts.
A physician who works six assignments in two years assembles essentially the same credentialing packet six times, for six different organizations. Each one verifies independently, as it should. Each one then keeps the result in its own file, one the clinician can't take along to the next assignment. A short assignment does not lower the standard a clinician has to clear. What should drop, assignment after assignment, is the repetition.

02 · What changes for a short assignment
The standard doesn't move. The room to work sooner does.
A locum assignment is short by design. What a facility can do about that is create room to start sooner, not lower the bar a clinician has to clear to get there.
- Temporary privileges
- Granted under the receiving organization's own bylaws, not a blanket industry rule. The medical staff office sets the window and the conditions, usually tied to a defined patient care need.
- Expedited review
- Available when the file is clean and complete at submission. Expedited means the review moves faster, often without waiting for the next scheduled committee meeting. It does not mean fewer things get checked.
- What does not change
- Licensure, identity, sanctions history, and malpractice history are still confirmed, every time, for every assignment, at every organization. A short assignment is not a waiver.
03 · The repetition ledger
Six assignments. The same packet, six times.
Each assignment creates a new organization-specific review. The same packet is assembled and handed over at every stop. The repetition is the argument.

Existing evidence can be prepared again without rebuilding the packet from scratch.
A count of the work Rōvn did. Not a rating of the physician. Workflow structure
A named reviewer decides independently under this organization's own requirements.
04 · Where Rōvn fits
Rōvn reuses the evidence. It never reuses the decision.
Assembling a packet for a new organization is agent work. Agents pull the clinician's consented, current evidence, license, DEA registration, board certification, malpractice and claims history, format it to that organization's own intake requirements, and receipt every step along the way.
No agent grants privileges, and no agent makes the call. Every medical staff office still privileges under its own bylaws, through its own named authority, exactly as it always has. What changes is what that authority is waiting on: evidence that already exists, current and assembled, instead of a packet still scattered across five inboxes and a fax queue.

The second activation should cost less than the first.
Not because the standard drops. Because the evidence already exists, current and ready, and does not have to be rebuilt from a file that never left the last organization's office.
